Family Legacy of Archie and Sylvia Ackerman

This blog hopefully, will be for all of Archie and Sylvia Ackerman posterity- you and I! I am hoping that everyone will give input to this blog.

I love Family History, Genealogy, Family Stories, Journals etc. Knowing where I am from and who I am from and who my ancestors are, has given me a better sense of who I am and what I want to do with my life. This wanting to know more has in a large part come from Aunt Sylvia. She has been an inspiration for me for many years. I will never be able to keep it all straight in my mind as she does!! She has a wealth of information about past generations that I hope either she will share or allow me to share with all of you.
I am new to blogging. So if anyone has any suggestions please feel free to share. The more input everyone gives the more we will all know about the Legacy of our family history. Maybe it will be inspiration to know more, be more or just make us happy to be who we are!!

I don't want a lot of personal information about the "living" or you and I today (for privacy issues, you can decide on that) I would like to share stories, genealogies, things like that.

I will add stories that I have about family and genealogies a little at a time. I hope that if anyone has questions about family history you will post the questions and if someone knows the answer they will also post the answer. This will be a great place to post pictures (with names, dates etc) or maybe that is a good way to get information on a picture you may have which you do not have information on.

This is getting wordy! I hope this will spark interest to all of Archie and Sylvia's posterity. I am looking forward to sharing (memories, stories, pictures etc) what I have with you.
